I've had this avatar for years and wanted to change. However, for some reason i'm unable to. Can someone help?

thanks for replying Imaq, that's what i've been doing. I could easily change my other infos except when i upload the new avatar with the correct spec. the msg said settings saved but the image stays the same.

Maybe it's under the same name or it's the same in size :/ Try renaming it.

I don't know if this helps but when you change avatar it only shows up when you really load all the page again. What this means is that it may be necessary for you to clean the browser cache to see it.
