What's the best size / ratio for a poster to show on a Wide Screen TV mounted vertically ?

1080x1600 is what I use, but I don't use the full height of the panel. Except to backlight some cut out text.

Some other approaches in that thread too. I often wonder just how cool, would Great Dane's approach be, with an internal database and simply use the windowed 1000x1500 resolution that he uses , with all the metadata.
