Got a question on tagging rules.

Why not tag by director's name? I personally don't believe this will somehow fuck with site's performance. This will instead help people like me who search for posters not on 'theme' or 'artist' basis, but rather by actor/director.
And another one - about not tagging posters by language. I basically agree with this, but there are certain exceptions like for example Polish posters which themselves have a cult following and might be treated as such.
Just a thought.

I don't know about the language but about the directors names: specific posters don't really have to do much with the director, it's not like he designed it or is on it or anything. It is the movie that's linked to him. We plan to make director pages in the future, with all the movies he made listed there.

Well, the polish ones would be a good exception, at least, I think the same of them, but we should have something better than "polish poster", as most of nowadays polish are the same. Of course we all can see that they are more that a language posters. Some word to difference them from others? Maybe "classic polish posters" or "cult polish posters"? Just a suggestion.
And about directors, already answered, a better system is already being done. The thing with tagging is, when you use a tag, only looking at thumbs make clear what is being tagged. A director it's not. And well, the bad of tagging is they are showed randomly, and with the future system movies will be shown by year, so that's better.
As I said, looking at thumbs make clear the reason of tagging...polish cult posters have that, but language tagging wouldn't. And polish posters are own desing (anda very caracteristic one), so wouldn't never collide with another country poster.

Well, I've already made the polish tag. Finally I decided to call it
Cult Polish Poster. Rules for this tag are:
-It must be a 100% Polish and only Polish design, so it must be the only poster in its version, can't be shared with any country.
-It must be art, not a simple photograph.
