Heinz Bonne
Graphic designer and painter Heinz Bonné was born in Leipzig. After studying at the Academy of Graphic Arts in 1932, he opened his own studio. In 1935 he took over the management of the UFA studios in Leipzig. From 1940 to 1945 he was drafted into the Wehrmacht. After the war he moved back to Leipzig and did film advertising for DEFA and Sovexport-Film, before movie to West Germany in 1950. There he created numerous movie posters for various film distributors.
